Patagonia is genius. To me they represent the only sustainable future of manufacturing. I can only hope their attitude catches on before its too late (if its not already). This video gets major bonus points for being inspiring. I particularly like the line “This is something we are called to do, and if we are quiet, we will surely hear it.”

It aims to close the loop on the product life cycle - to make old clothes into new and keep them from ever reaching a landfill or incinerator. Reduce what you buy. Repair what you can. Reuse what you no longer need. Recycle what’s worn out. Reimagine a sustainable world.
